The stages were Las Vegas — the residency, the broadcast, the keynote. The shop is Da Nang. Then I opened Phillip Violins on Hoàng Bích Sơn in Sơn Trà: a showroom, a luthier's bench, and a school in one room.
I opened it because it didn't exist. Central Vietnam had no full-service violin shop — nowhere to get a proper setup, nowhere to have a repair done by a trained luthier, no place for a five-year-old to hold an instrument that fits. This is the first and only one.
Every instrument here is selected, set up, and inspected before it leaves. Every student gets the same teaching a professional would. A room where technique, emotion, and artistry meet — that's the whole plan.
